This past July ELITE SOCCER CLUB PLAINFIELD made history by attending to its First EUROPEAN TOURNAMENT, we took a talented and dedicated team of 06,05,04/03 players to play in the BARCELONA SUMMER CUP INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT which was held in Beautiful Salou/Cambrils Spain ( South of Barcelona) We faced some extremely top European teams like Real Union from Spain, Fcfj from Finland who had 4 national team players, Marseille Rouguiere from France, Cf Base Arboc from Spain, Snaefell from Iceland & Vasby IK from Sweden, now remember all these teams are official Academies teams as their clubs are professional clubs, it was a Great experience & Challenge for our boys and although Jetlag got the best of us the First day we managed to Win and Tie the 2nd and 3rd day! So we did not come home Empty Handed, we tied in points with 4th place, this trip will be one that the boys won’t forget and it has helped tremendously on how we continue their development, we thank the dedication and sacrifice of the parents and players that made this trip a success.
